How to use Sidepath at the top level
This has been asked several times, and is also the solution to running Sidepath as a subdomain, eg. http://go.thesidepath.com/amazon
Follow these 5 simple steps:
- Upload the Sidepath files into the top-level domain/subdomain
- Edit the config files $url variable (eg http://go.yourdomain.com)
- Leave the $folder variable blank (eg “”;)
- Create a blank file in the top-level called .htaccess
- CHMOD the .htaccess file World Writeable, 777
That is all you need to do, no other changes need to be made.
